I buy a bag of chips knowing full well half the bag is air. I watch webinars, hoping the same is not true and it ALWAYS is. It made me so mad watching one today that I angry posted on my FB page. I have revised:

BIG NOTE: If you do webinars…STFU and GET TO THE DAMN POINT. Stop telling me you are going to tell me and TELL ME!!! I hate the “I’m going to tell you 4 things” and they talk about every damned thing under the sun like who this is for, who else had it, what I am going to tell you, and how you can use this. Then the showing off part: Here’s a picture of my boat, house, car, wife, kids, pets, toothbrush, little toe, cemetery plot, and all the other bullshit for an overlong length of time before ever getting to the 4 things!!!

Oh, and I couldn’t care less who else did this under you unless Gary Vee took your stuff. Save those testimonials for your webpage. If you do a Webinar…or a FB live or anything like this….practice. Know what you want to say, lose the ah and ums, and GET TO THE DAMN POINT. Don’t feel like you have to go for half an hour, 45 minutes, an hour. Stop being water and filling whatever gap you have. Do the world a favor and stop being like everyone else. Get in, get out.

It was billed as a “live Webinar” and, of course, it wasn’t. But that didn’t stop me from submitting a comment that he was just like everyone else and that at 17 minutes in he still had told me nothing so I bailed.

If I ever do one it will be the most direct you’ve ever seen. I’ll actually dive right into the message and not waste your time.
